The Simpson Strong-Tie BC series offers dual purpose post cap/base for light cap or base connections. The BC4Z post base is approved to be installed with the specified nails or Strong-Drive SD connector screws.
The Strong-Tie BC4Z post base features a ZMAX galvanized finish for added corrosion resistance and requires the use of hot-dip galvanized fasteners which meet the specifications of ASTM A153.
